Hello and thank you for visiting my crochet blog! β€ (formerly TammyBoBammy) π
Friday: 20181214. π²π I completed crochet treats for my 2018 #holiday card tradition for snail mail - yay! My current WIPs are π #dragonscale mitts for Christmas gifts and 2018π‘ #tempghan and #stitchghan for #2018tempCAL .
My hopes for a fish 'design' and beanie experiment are temporarily on hold as I make good on seeing 2018 to the exit door.
I tag my stuff #my stuff because I'm creative that way. π
I enjoy sharing patterns and kudos along with my personal updates, DIY projects, and upcycles. It is my hope that you will enjoy - be entertained - and feel inspired to create. I welcome comments and questions. HONEST! β€

As always CR is a non-stop source of creative inspiration. My heartfelt thanks to the cast & crew, and to this loving & encouraging community. I can’t wait to see what the next year has in store for all of us.
I’m hoping to crochet the rest of the Mighty Nein soon!! Any maybe re-do Fjord >_>
The Student has wanted a poncho since she was about 12. My fourth project therefore was this boho poncho, again made with Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable yarn, this time in Cappuccino. She hasn’t seen it yet, she will be home next week! The problem is, the Sixth Former wants one now! Anyone got a pattern for a teenage boys poncho?
Like something Clint Eastwood would wear? I don’t have a pattern but guess it would be like making a rectangular blanket with a hole?
Yes I think that’s what he has in mind! But with a modern look lol. I can’t find a pattern anywhere and daren’t make it up as I go along!
So pretty! I’m bummed that I missed this post @hooksnstitches ! What was the outcome for Boy (formerly Sixth Former - yes?)? ❤
So I’m wondering… How does everyone else keep their crochet tools stash?
I currently have mine in a little bag like this and it drives me nuts sometimes trying to find stuff, especially my darning needles.
So, what’s a good idea way to keep?
I’ve got my hooks: the birch set there and 3 loose hooks of bigger sizes.
2 packs of darning/tapestry needles: plastic n steel.
The row markers.
Eyes
My pom pom maker.
Scissors.
I generally work in a panettone bread tin 😂 keeps the yarn from rolling everywhere when i crochet…
That’s a nice stash there! I have an at home set-up and an on the road one. At home I keep my most used items standing in a wood box and the accoutrement items in a similar bag to yours tucked away. I found the box at a market and just drilled some holes in the lid.
I have smaller items tucked inside. Then when I’m traveling, I got this off of Amazon..,my kids call it my Dexter Kit! 😅 It’s a tri-fold pouch and I love it. There is a zippered section on the right side that I managed to cut outta the pic 🙄😁
Fun stuff - I love sharing ideas! 🤗 As an empty nester, I leave my tools on display next to my chair to make my happy zone. An antique spooner holds the majority of my hooks. Not nearly as pretty but cleaned prescription bottles work great to hold needles, stitch markers, and measuring tape. ❤🏚❤
Sister’s is sorta complete. I need to put on a “legend” at the ends, but am not quite sure what I want to do. Still, that’s the year for her corner of Washington.
🌡❤ Yay @heathera9 ! This looks fantastic, and the matching pupper puts it over the top! 😍
